Superior Street Vacation Rental #3

The apartment looked just like the pictures. The rental company was very responsive as we had spotty internet the night before and I did not receive the code to get in. They responded quick to my email and phone calls. I would totally recommend this place. The only thing I would change if I could would be a screen door on the deck sliding door. We had beautiful weather and would have loved to have the door open but didn't want bugs to fly in. The location was great. Able to walk to most things.

Apartment is perfectly situated as a jumping off point to explore all that Munising and Pictured Rocks area has to see and do. Suited our needs as a family of four that needs a bit more space and a few more amenities than a hotel room provides.

Food, drink and shops all within easy walking distance.

Everything is as described in the listing. The weather was perfect (60-70 degrees) while we were there, so really didn’t need the A/C. We opened the sliding door and had a great breeze.

Was a little surprised there wasn’t a dishwasher, but that was just something I overlooked in the listing and it wasn’t a big deal—my kids simply learned a good life skill on this trip. ;-)

Property manager was very responsive and helpful.

A convenient location in the middle of town walking distance to many restaurants and breweries. A short drive to pictured rocks national seashore. Launching point for boat tours and kayak tours.
Comfortable accommodations with a nice deck ( great spot to view the 4th of July fireworks)

Good amenities, but didn’t have WiFi for two days

The apartment is very cute, very clean. Easy to access, close to everything. We didn’t have any reason to contact the owner or request anything. It was exactly as it said in the listing. Would definitely stay there again.

Found this second floor apartment to be as appeared online and clean. Loved the private balcony as well!! This was probably our main appeal. The week we were there the area was quiet and relaxing. A great place to unwind from a full day of exploring. If you’re looking for a view, this isn’t it. Already had great views during the day. We did witness a double rainbow one night though! If you can’t handle stairs or no A/C, don’t recommend. My sister and I are Seniors and harder for us to deal with the number of steps and no A/C from all the up and down on arrival and departure days. FYI - No closets or dressers. Small second bedroom.

We used this apartment as a home base and couldn't have asked for more. Great location, we could walk to all of the places in Munising we wanted to get to and a short drive to so many outdoor adventures. A minor issue with getting into the apartment was handled quickly and professionally. We would definitely rent this apartment again.

Had a good time exploring the area. We picked this area being it’s so close to the pictured rock cruise. Unfortunately, for the second time weather didn’t cooperate and canceled the cruise. The rental is in a great location just had an issue with the heat during our stay. However, they were willing to provide a space heater if needed.

Very comfortable apartment with nice furniture, beds,linens and fully loaded kitchen. We used the gas grill on the deck too. Convenient to the Pictured Rocks area, Marquette and easy walking around the town right out the door, and plenty of spots to walk dogs too.

We did not realize there were so few places within Pictured Rocks area where dogs are allowed, and so had to leave them home in crates, not just for the boat cruise, but most of the Park trails (and I got a message that they were barking one afternoon...sorry!)

Very relaxing to come back to at end of day, or to hang out on some of the bad weather days to watch the smart TV with all the streaming services.

We mostly cooked there or brought in take out, so as not to leave the dogs alone. Lots of choices right in town, and a pretty good grocery store. Can't wait to go back!

we took the dogs to Miners Falls, one of the few places they were allowed and then went on to various spots all the way to Grand Marais. Had a good dinner at the Grand Marais Tavern. The weather started out warmish but then it did turn chilly, which we loved. the leaves were turning color and the lake was dramatic.

We really enjoyed our stay. The kitchen and living area are very nice and the king bed is very comfortable. The deck was nice in the evenings too. Highly recommended!

The apartment was roomy, kids room a little warm, and nice hone base for exploring Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. It had a great location and provided everything we needed.

Great location, clean, modern updates and comfortable for our family of 4. Bedrooms include 1 large king and another bedroom with twin over full bunk. The apartment is cozy and I would not have wanted to stay with more people. Kitchen was well-stocked. The balcony is nice, we used the grill, and the backyard has a firepit and lawn games which the kids loved. It is a 5 minute walk to the Pictured Rocks boat tour and you can walk to lots of restaurants, shops, coffee shops. It is a few minutes to drive to groceries or gas. The apartment is in an older building that was probably all offices so it is not much to look at when you first drive up, but the apartments inside are great! We also did a daytrip to Tahquamenon Falls which you should definitely make time for if you have never been.

The apartment is cozy with a galley kitchen. (Could use a better wine opener, especially with the local winery on the next block.) Lovely balcony with a glimpse of the lake. Good location for local restaurants, grocery store, laundromat, and access to cruises and hikes. Smaller sleeping room could use better curtains to block out hall light. No closets and limited space for clothes if you like to unpack. Nice bathroom.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The apartment was clean, cozy and in a perfect location for our stay in Munising! The king size bed was extremely comfortable and we really enjoyed the balcony! We would definitely stay again!

Cute, modern and great location within walking distance to restaurants, shops, marina, beach and boat tours. Outdoor balcony was a bonus for relaxing outside.

Loved being able to walk everywhere. The condo was so clean and nice. Loved the porch! Perfect!

Very nice apartment, updated and great location

We thoroughly enjoyed out stay at this property. The apartment was in a great location in town. Steps to the brewery and most restaurants only a couple blocks away at most. The unit was clean, nicely decorated and true to the photos. Kitchen was well equipped. We loved the balcony/patio as well - even bigger than expected. We would stay again on out next trip up north!

Very cute space with plenty of beds, great kitchen amenities and a common space to hang out. Walking distance to the docks. The host was an awesome communicator and took the time to answer our questions in the middle of a holiday.

We had a very nice stay at 223 Superior Street. Everything was new and decorated in an updated style. We appreciated the spaciousness and how convenient it was to everything we wanted in town. This apartment is located where it is easy to walk to everything. We like to cook in, so the kitchen was a bit of a challenge in terms of cooking utensils. As time goes on, hopefully more utensils will fill out the kitchen. I added a can opener, and a cheese grater. We wished there were screens on the windows and the sliding glass door to the patio, so we could enjoy evening lake air. Also, there were some light and fan switches that did not work properly. These are small inconveniences and did not impede our overall fantastic adventures hiking throughout the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. Thank you for a safe, clean and welcoming apartment!

Very nice place. Looks newly remodeled. Very clean. It is upstairs so if you don't do stairs, then you should avoid it.

The apartment was very modern and a great layout. The balcony was an added bonus to help with drying towels from a day at the beach which is a quick 5 minute drive. Being around the corner and qalking distance from the East Chanel brewery. Only thing is hard to find from the street being above a CBD shop. Highly recomended for a long stay with great acess to Munising bay and pictured rocks and can accommodate with a kitchen. If your in the mood for shave ice and hotdogs, stop down the road at U.P. tiki for great service.
