Moose Tracks is a beautiful cabin surrounded by the Hiawatha National Forest on a private drive. If you are looking to get away from it all and enjoy the sounds of nature & peace and quiet, this cabin is for you. Relax on the enclosed porch while drinking your morning coffee. If you want to explore Munising and the Pictured Rocks shoreline and all that it has to offer, it's only 15 miles from this cabin. The cabin sleeps 6 with 2 bedrooms and a LOFT (Non-Conforming Bedroom 3). Bedroom 1 is downstairs with a Queen bed. Bedroom two is upstairs with a Queen bed and then the LOFT has two Twin beds. The cabin also features a fully stocked kitchen and all linens that you will need during your stay. Wifi is provided as well as two smart TVs.
***Door code will be released the day of check-in for security purposes.
***If you are booking through Airbnb or VRBO you will receive a separate contract from Pictured Rocks Vacation Rentals. In order to receive check-in information you will be required to sign this.

The private setting back in the woods was very pretty and peaceful. Cabin came with everything we needed including a grill that wasn't mentioned. The location was convenient for exploring/hiking the Pictured Rocks area, as well as trips to Tahquamenon Falls, Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum at Whitefish Point and Seney Wildlife Refuge. We wrapped up our trip with a relaxing kayak trip down the Au Train River. Our family would recommend cabin to others.

The stay was amazing. The log cabin was exactly as described. It was well-stocked and felt like home. The owner/management company did an amazing job of keeping it clean and providing your guests with all the amenities needed. We came with my elderly parents and it was great to have the bedroom on the bottom floor. My only recommendation since the place sleeps six is having an additional bathroom, but I realize this is a big task. But overall the cabin was amazing and close to a lot of things. All the information provided was very helpful.

This was the perfect little getaway for our twin 9 yr old boys and us parents...we got a chance to explore back roads and do some fishing near by. The house was very clean and had everything we needed and some. We will definitely be planning a trip in the future here again.
We planned to stay at this cabin for our daughter's birthday. We thought the cabin was great for the couple hours we were there until we didn't have water. The plumber finally showed up at 1030pm and said the well had dried up. We were then forced to leave the cabin to go into town and stay in an apartment at midnight. Which we then had to be out of the apartment by noon the next day. They then put us in a motel the following night. Not at all what we payed for. Make a long story short they did not refund our request of a full refund. Very disappointed! Would not recommend booking with them.
Manager's Response
Chris and his family booked our cabin. Unfortunately after a few hours of being at the cabin the well apparently dried up according to the plumbing and heating company we sent out after hours. Come to find out 2 days later it was electrical issues with the pump itself and we were able to get it fixed.
As a property management company we did everything in our power for Chris and his family to still enjoy their stay. They were well aware that night this inconvenience occurred that we only had a rental open for one night. Major holiday weekend and everything was booked in the area. After searching past 1am we were able to find another place for them to stay Saturday night. Fortunately a motel had someone cancel last minute. We did not force them into anything, they could have declined the accommodations we found and received a full refund. They did receive more than half of the total booking plus was still able to stay in Munising for 2 nights.
