Ice Fishing

Ice Fishing is something the locals love to do! Munising Bay and other areas of Lake Superior offer Lake Trout, Whitefish, Coho, 

Inland lakes are also popular for ice fishing. Common cool water game fish include smallmouth bass, northern pike, walley, yellow perch, whitefish, and smelt. Trout species includle brook trout, rainbow trout, lake trout and coho salmon. 

Don't forget to purchase a fishing license and if you're parking a vehicle make sure you have purchased a parking permit if necessary.
